10/31/05 HEADLINES: Coors Monster shut down Vernon & Matt 8-0. RECAP Infrored gets on the winning column, defeating Rookies of the Year 13-5. RECAP Stadium Concern: The owner of the stadium put a wood plate up against the broken window today, leaving a "No more playing ball" sign. We would like to move the stadium, but we really cannot move anywhere. Once the construction is over, the long hall is a viable option. If you have any ideas, please submit. Ideas including completely protecting the window. If we can ensure that no further damage could be inflicted onto the window, Stadium Manager Goldsmith-Pinkham may not object. For now, even if you just want to throw couple pitches, put up the carpet. Although the wood looks tough, we never know. And ANY type of wiffling will be restricted to after 6 PM on weekdays. After you are done, put the strike zone back against the wall, and put the carpets somewhere else. Weekends should be fine. |
