I'm sure you've figured out by now that I'm a major Star Trek addict. I
love TNG, DS9 and Voyager, though I'm not too crazy about the original
series.
My dad says it's because Kirk was before my time.
I say

was because Kirk was a one-dimensional model of chauvinistic arrogance and
that the series reflects this model. I mean, look at the women on that
ship! Those teeny little skirts!
My dad
points out that Deanna Troi's skirts are nice, too.
