Please note that these are rough notes, and have not yet been made all purdy-like.  They are kinda casual, you might say.

Tuáille Mála (Towel Backpack)

Level 4, Gnosis 7

The name of this fetish is mysterious, but it is clearly from the Fianna. Some have theorized that it may have to do with a certain series of popular science fiction novels, but no-one know for sure.

It appears as a worn-in leather backpack, with patches on it depicting the flag, or other notable features, of every place it has been. It’s not as covered as the quintessential steamer trunk, but does have a few layers built up by now.

It can be used to temporarily dedicate items held within it. Place desired items in. Roll Gnosis or spend a point as normal to activate. Items within are effectively dedicated as long as they remain inside. They still count against your Gnosis limit, though the Storyteller may rule that a few small things only take one point, collectively.

The items inside will behave in all respects as if dedicated. They will enter the Umbra with the user, they will get absorbed into lupus form, or any other form where the user wishes items to be absorbed rather than present. Once removed, for any length of time, they must be re-attuned, however.

The only thing the spirit of the fetish asks is that whenever it is brought into a country for which it does not already have a patch, one be gotten and placed on it. Failing to do so will render the pack useless until amends are made.

Subtle Knife (lifted blatantly from His Dark Materials, a very good series of books by Phillip Pullman)

Level 3, Gnosis 5

Activating this fetish is a simple matter of sweeping it through the air as if to cut a doorway. Roll Gnosis. Every two successes reduces the Gauntlet in that spot by one for five minutes. It can be reduced to zero; a rating of one means that those who could step sideways normally can do so without a roll; a rating of zero means that a visible hole has been cut between this world and the other, and beings (spirits or mortals, as the case may be) can be carried from one side to the other. They may die fairly quickly from adverse conditions, but that’s another matter.

Gnosis points can be spent to activate this fetish, but each point spent equals one success on the roll, so it is very inefficient.

Bodhrán na Gealach

Level 4, Gnosis 7

Notes: anyone can play this who has Gnosis. The drum’s surface always reflects the current phase of the moon, such that the fuller the moon is, the further the light spreads across the surface of the drum.

This drum is mysterious and complex and does things based on the phase of the moon:

• Ragabash – Playing the drum during the new moon makes no noise; in fact, it makes anti-noise, if you will, that silences any sounds within one yard per activation success.

• Theurge – Playing the drum during the crescent moon makes a ward such that no spirits can come within one yard per activation success. This affect spirits whether the character is in the Umbra or not, and thus can be used to protect someone from possession.

• Philodox – When used during the half moon, everyone within one yard per success regains one point of Willpower upon activation. (Note: this may require tweaking.) Other idea: once per half moon, the drum may be activated to give all listeners one point of Willpower per activation success.

• Galliard – By playing the drum during the gibbous moon, all listeners must fill in the parts of the Galliard’s story that he leaves blank, to the best of their knowledge. This can be used to garner confessions, secret hideouts, and much, much more.

• Ahroun – When Luna shows her full face, the drum glows with a palpable light. When exposed to the full moonlight, the drum begins to play itself. The sound enthrals all nearby Bête, giving them one Rage point per activation success, even surpassing their limit. The drum rolls its own Gnosis, against a difficulty of 6. There is no way to stop it from doing this, so an already Rage-filled Ahroun listening to this drum becomes a fearsome thing indeed.

Ghost Ring

This ring is rather strange; it exists somewhere between the Skinlands and the Shadowlands. Here’s what it does:

If a vampire, kuei-jin, mummy, risen, or any such corporeal undead wears it, not a thing happens.  The fact that mummies are included here hints at some strange property of the ring, as for all other purposes mummies seem to be alive.

If a werebeast, mage, Hunter, ghoul or mortal wears it, then they can see past the Shroud. They can touch wraiths and wraithly objects as if those things were normal and corporeal. Wraiths can still avoid damage by discorporating, however. By spending one Willpower, the wearer will actually enter the Shadowlands for a scene, thus becoming invisible, but able to be harmed by wraiths. They can only move that which a wraith could, however, and don’t have the option of discorporation, as a wraith would.

If a wraith wears the ring (yes, they can touch and move it. People in the Skinlands may see it move about mysteriously), then they move into the Skinlands. They have a somewhat vague, shadowy form, are fully corporeal (i.e. can be injured and destroyed by repeated attacks, but can also wear clothes and pick things up), and can return (with the ring) for a scene to the Shadowlands by spending a Willpower point. Each scene the ring is worn, however, their Shadow gains two (yes, two!) temporary Angst. This will make them into a Spectre fairly quickly, unless they are amazingly strong willed and good friends with a strong Pardoner.

The ring is addictive to whoever wears it; use standard rules for Vis addiction. Addiction: roll Willpower diff 9 thresh 2 or effectively gain a level of Blood Bond towards the substance. Make this roll each scene any is ingested [ring is used actively]. If kept away from Vis [ring] for a suitable amount of time (ST’s discretion), then go into withdrawal, and become unstable like a hungry vampire. I.e., will frenzy in the presence of Vis [the ring] if a roll is failed. All that jazz.
