THE MYTH OF THE "VOLUNTEER"

Of course, we accept volunteers and pay them accordingly. However, there's a problem with this. Not many people want to volunteer to have their babies recloned. After all, they feel uneasy knowing that they have "children" (albeit clones, which aren't really people to begin with) whom they will never see.

Thus, a new policy was instigated. We have operatives who scour the country for abandoned and orphaned infants. Cell-samples are taken and shipped to us.

In addition, doctors in all local hospitals are on the lookout for newborn infants who are at risk for genetic peculiarities: hearing loss, dyslexia, leukemia, and so on. Samples are taken from these infants as needed and shipped to us.

Parental permission is no longer necessary.

However, in order to keep up the public vision that we get our cell-samples from legitimate volunteers, it is necessary to continue the "volunteer" campaign, as well as to offer a substantial monetary compensation.
