The Crimson Barn: My Big Apple Home

I live in New York City - and really, if you don't know by now what state that's in, I'll have to render you a hopeless case. Anyhow, we live in a crimson barn - at least, it looks like one - in a non-city-looking area of Queens. I have to emphasize that, because I could never even begin to count the number of people who, upon hearing that I live in New York City, assume that I'm from Manhattan, live in a high-rise in the midst of pollution city, and perceive glamour shopping centers as my second home.

Here's a picture of the "Kemp Guys" in the family: my dad, my little bro and my favorite puppy, Merlin.

I'm going to download more pictures onto here sooner or later. I dislike short pages - a reflection on my rather diminutive height, I suppose. Wonder what Freud would say about that?

Family hobby numbero uno - especially for my dad - is fishing. I shocked everyone by pulling in the record-breaking catch of the day last summer - boy, did my dad turn green. So there! And I wouldn't even let anyone help me lug the thing in. It gave the word 'heavy' a whole new meaning......
