I live in New York City - and really, if you don't know by now what state that's in, I'll have to render you a hopeless case. Anyhow, we live in a crimson barn - at least, it looks like one - in a non-city-looking area of Queens. I have to emphasize that, because I could never even begin to count the number of people who, upon hearing that I live in New York City, assume that I'm from Manhattan, live in a high-rise in the midst of pollution city, and perceive glamour shopping centers as my second home.

pulling in the record-breaking catch of the day last summer - boy, did my
dad turn
green. So there! And I wouldn't even let anyone help me lug the thing in.
It gave the word 'heavy' a whole new meaning......
