My Journal
January 26, 1994
Today I got another hallucination, this time in debate class.
I couldn't shake it off. I really needed fresh air, because I
felt like I wasn't getting any oxygen. I leaned over to
Noli and
told her I was going outside. Well, that's what I thought I said.
She gave me a weird look.
Later she told me that I had leaned over
to say, "Noli, I really need to listen to some music. Do you think
that's okay?" That cracked me up when she told me.
We laughed, and I explained that
I had been hallucinating. My brain had lost its
logical connection
to my vocal cords.
