SDME stands for SWAPA Digital Music Exchange, which is essentially a musical mailing list. Members send in a fifteen-minute set every few months, and get in return two CDs worth of music from the other members. Fitting a coherent "set" into fifteen minutes is surprisingly tricky, but it does give a good sense of what I want other people to hear of the music I like.
