Disclaimer - and Greeting

Welcome!
to the shadow of my mind,
	where Raadhe paces, cornered tiger
	in dreams of revenge,
while the chorus swells beneath her, insisting:
	No! This is not me!

Welcome
to the evening of my mind,
where thoughts discarded rot, hatch, grow,
	with long, dirty fingers, grow,
supporting the crystal arches of my soul.

Welcome
to the cavern of my mind
one hand cupping, empty as my heart,
Raadhe lounges here, in her silk negligée,
	belching, Raadhe gorged on dreams.

Welcome
to the secret of my mind.
What will you give me if I tell you more?
	What will you pay me?
	Raise the hemline:
an inch of skin, and another,
	another again, and -
	until I am bare.

Welcome to my silent ocean.
They are entwined beneath the bridge.
In their rags and their bruises,
	they are gasping.

Welcome to my peaceful forest,
	as Raadhe raises the knife,
	bloodthirst relief,
	at last,
and plunges it into her own heart.

Welcome to my perfect fantasy.
	Step carefully.
Watch for the infants' skulls; they are thicker here.
	Her tiny white hand -
see, there we lay her, Raadhe-child,
	in the cold dawn.

Welcome!
to the beauty of my mind!
In the heart of the world slept
	one
	kernel of madness,
	Her black core
	whence she takes Her strength,
and I, brave, once tasted Her blood.
	Now I, too, am strong.
