HYSTE: A HYbrid System for Autonomous Exploration

It's pretty much all over. HYSTE is fully functional, and my entirely completed thesis has been submitted to the external examiner Douglas Blank of University of Arkansas as part of Swarthmore College's honors program as one of my preperations. I've graduated from Swarthmore with High Honors, and am now seeking employment and getting HYSTE ready for IJCAI-Seattle's Urban Search and Rescue contest. After the contest (August 4th - 10th 2001), I will probably be posting source code here so you can check out the guts of HYSTE. For now, you will have to content yourself with reading all 72 scintillating pages of my thesis, available in PDF , or PostScript .
