About Us

The Swarthmore Progressive Action Committee (SPAC) is a group that organizes around issues of the political left, including the promotion of peace; internationalist solidarity efforts; and economic, political, and social justice. SPAC members work to educate themselves and the College community about such issues, and attend off-campus events, including protests, to further these ends.

SPAC is working on two projects this semester: opposing the war on Iraq and getting Swarthmore to divest from arms manufacturers.

Meetings are usually at 9 pm, Sunday, at Kohlberg 330. Check the email updates for changes in meeting time or place.

The way we figure, the more email lists we have, the cooler and more powerful we become.
