One of the most gratifying ways to explore geometry is through the use of constructions. Usually these constructions are done with a a compass and straightedge, however any constructions that can be done using a compass and an ummarked straightedge can be dune using just a compass. This remarkable fact will be demonstarted over the next few pages. All of the constructions are accompanied with sample sketches using a program called The Geometers Skeckpad or you can view a text version of the instruction that you can do on paper. Eventually these pages will include all the fundamental constructions using only a compass.
If you would like to use the interactive demo sketches but don't have a copy of The Geometers Sketchpad, you can get a demo version here.
