Beyond Mendelian Flowers:
A New Age of Discovery!

SOCIOLOGY
Sociology studies the differences between different cultures. How does
culture impact within-culture development? Does it change intellectual
reasoning? Lead some traits to develop which otherwise would not have? to
answer these questions, N&N Corporation has licensed numerous studies in
this area. The most notable ones are variants of the following:
- How will people without a culture at all, develop one of
their own? We took the socially-deprived, laboratory-raised clones,
and
placed many upon an island in order to observe the culture they formed, if
any. We used several different varieties of lab clones:
- Those raised from infancy on with little or no social
interaction, and little or no opportunity to learn language.
- We aged
infant clones artifically in tanks, and transferred them to an island,
fully-formed, with nothing but the rudimentary basics. (thus eliminating
the trauma resulting from a laboratory-raised life with little or no
social interaction.)
- Do different cultures cause people to develop some
abilties
while
impairing others?
- We placed cloned infants in different
countries:
America, Africa, Japan, India, Spain, and so on. In this way, we compared
the effects of each culture upon development. Of course, as a control, we
raised one clone in our own lab.
- We varied the above experiment by
inherent nationality: we used Japanese infant clones, American ones,
Indian, Spanish, and so on. Thus we had a cross-comparison to see if
living in a culture which is not one's native culture, has a different
impact as well.
The results of these studies are still incomplete. Once finished, we
expect to have new answers regarding how society and cultures work.
