A.D. (adj).
Signifier of how many years "After Dolly" the present date is. Dolly, the harbinger of multiple lives brought about by the cloning process, is presently considered an Angel sent from Above. Historically speaking, A.D. is also a euphemism formerly known as "After Death", which represented a primary way of keeping track of passing years. The knowledge of just whose death "A.D." was supposed to symbolize has been lost in the last century. Rumors have it that the answer is somewhere in an old paper book called "the bible"; but as there appears to be no direct reference to the term, or to the definition of the word "bible", this knowledge has been lost.
