Cee-Constitution, Article Eleven:
Cee-Science.
Section One: The cell-sample
The cell-sample is comprised of a single cell taken from the individual
and preserved. It is from this sample that an individual is recloned after
death. Since cell-samples cannot survive outside their host for more
than two years, an individual must return to a local doctor of Cloning
Lab in order for a new cell-sample to be taken - not less than once every
two years, or more than once a year.
Section Two: The brain-scan
The brain-scan is a weekly process done quite easily in the home via
computer. This process maps the brain onto the computer. Whenever a
brain-scan is processed, it replaces the preceding brain-scan, so that
only one brain-scan of any individual lies in the computer core at any
given time. At the time
of recloning, the most recent brain-scan is uploaded into the individual's
newly-cloned body.
