Darwinist Philosophy

Excerpt from three-hour-long speech given April 3, 228 A.D., to Darwinist sympathizers (few though they may be) among the Beyonder elite:

Exhibit A:
Concrete proof of the evil of the cee-process!

......Man evolved through natural selection, where genes contributing to the survival of a species gradually increased across the population, while those inhibiting species growth died out. This highly effective system of evolution has existed since the dawn of time.

Yet the Cee-Constitution and all it entails: cloning, multiple deaths, and so forth - is of the most destructive nature to natural selection.

By causing death to become largely obsolete and reversible, all evolutionary progress has basically halted in its tracks. The human race has stagnated and will inevitably fall into decline.

It may not be evident now; but in future times, this decline will become more visible. But by then, it won't matter. By that time, there will be no one left with the insight to grasp the concept.

Even more significantly, our scientists have discovered that:

clones are not exact copies of the original;

in fact, our studies show that this is far from the case. When a person is upgraded in cee-status, their cell-samples (taken each year) are not fresh, but rather, are cloned samples themselves. Thus, as cee-status rises, an individual increasingly becomes a clone which was cloned from a clone, which was cloned from yet another clone, and so on. Our new research shows that excessive copying such as this results in something we have termed 'pattern fading'. That is the purpose of this meeting: to make the Beyonder Senate aware of this danger, so that something may be done to repair the damage. It may be too late; it may not. But the least we can do is try.

The birth rate has declined in the last century; you know that. What you do not know why. Popular opinion assumes that the declining death rate (death as in "forever-dead", you understand; or deeceed) is due to the fact that with ten lives or more at their disposal, the average human life span has exceeded one hundred chrono years, reaching almost to one hundred and fifty! Birth rate declines because people wait longer to have children, and then have less because of the increasing population.

But what many people do not know (what the Senate has kept carefully under wraps) is that the death and deformity rates among newborns have risen dramatically. We now know; we have just discovered, that the agent responsible for this is pattern fading.

Pattern fading is causing our genes to slowly become unstable and less powerful.

During the reproduction process, the separate genes from both parents are having trouble fusing properly in the womb. Dominant traits war on each other, producing gross deformities; cells divide unevenly, resulting in miscarriages and stillborns. The list goes on.

You want evidence; I know that. So here it is. We have been studying the effects of immeasurable clonings upon fish. Take a close look at Exhibit A here:

Exhibit A

We chose to experiment upon fish, since their genotype often manifests itself within the phenotype. In other words, gene problems become obvious to the eye. See how some fish are vibrant and colorful, while others are pale and listless? What you see here is direct proof of my statements. For the fact is this: each fish in this picture is virtually identical: the only difference is each one's cee-status! The most brightly-hued fish is the original; the next brighter ones were only cloned several times, while the dimmer ones were cloned up to several thousand times. The dimmer the fish, the more it has been cloned. You can see the tremendous differences here - it is hard to believe that each of these fish were cloned from the same original. Think about it.

If cloning has this effect upon mere fish, imagine its effect upon complex organisms such as we!

Cloning must be stopped; if not all at once, then in gradual increments. But stop it must. Each time someone is re-cloned, they become less and less the person they started out as; less and less a complete HUMAN BEING.

Yes: clones are inhuman, and becoming more so with each passing day......
