Old Man Grundle Eater 11-3 Shenanigans

Old Man Grundle Eater made sure they did not have to play 6 innings again. Crall stepped up his game a few notches from his first outing, pitching strong and also hitting a home run. Rodd, making his first career start, struggled to find the zone against the patient batters. He gave up 6 runs, including a grand slam to Crall, which was the first homer of his career. Chen, pitching on 2 days rest after throwing 5 innings, allowed a run on a walk but struck out two in a row to escape with just one earned run. They got some insurance runs on top 3rd, scoring 5 off Wallwork. Crall went to work on bottom 3 after a strong inning on bottom 2 to rest Chen, but gave up 2 runs on Rodd's triple. Chen relieved him and struck out the last two batters.
