| After a 20 minute delay due to missing player (Chen), the game quickly heated up into a tight game. Chen, who is having an outstanding pitching season, got by the first inning though he walked two batters. Murata pitched a 1-2-3 inning to keep the game scoreless. On top 2, Moody hit a single off Crall with one out. Crall struck out Murata, but walked Moody on four pitches, putting men on first and second with two out. Murata then connected on a 1-0 pitch for a double, scoring a valuable run. Moody made sure that one run was enough, pitching two scoreless innings. Though he gave up a single to Crall to put men on first and second with two outs on bottom 3, Moody struck out Chen for his 6th K of the game. |
