Coors Monster 4-0 High Flyers

Murata and Moody combined for a no-hitter and used a brief offensive spurt to get the fourth straight victory. Murata set the tone by getting 3 straight K's with 12 pitches, and Coors Monster struck early against Brennan. They efficiently scored 4 runs on 4 consecutive hits to start the inning, scoring on Moody's Double and Murata's homer. Then Brennan settled down to retire next 3 out of 4 batters, showing off his trademark fielding to minimize the damage. Moody got 3 K's along with one walk on top 2 to hold the HF in check, but Goldstein kept the margin at 4 when he retired two in a row to get out of a one-out, bases-loaded jam. It turned out that first four batters had won the game for CM, however, as Moody came up solid again on top 3, getting 3 K's along with one walk again to complete the shutout. CM improves to 4-0 and stay atop the Eastern division.
