If numeral one precedes a noun, use indefinite article instead:
Stephanie hat heute nur _eine_ Vorlesung.

Word order:

Yes/no questions: verb is the first element
	Regnet es noch?		Is it still raining?

Information questions: verb immediately follows a question word or interrogative
	expression.
	Wie ist das Wetter heute? 	How's the weather today?

Statements: verb is always the second element.
	Die Sonne scheint.

	caveat: ja, nein, und, oder, denn, aber, sondern don't count as 
		elements for this.

Expressions of time and place:
	Expressions of time precede expressions of place, as opposed to English
	Gehst du jetzt in die Bibliothek?
	Nein, ich gehe jetzt in die Kneipe.

Three different words for where, depending on how you mean it.
Wo ist Graz?	Graz ist in Österreich.
Woher ist Martin?	Ich glaube, er ist aus Mannheim.
Wohin gehst du heute Abend?	Heute Abend gehe ich ins Kino.
