Friends
Who is a friend? Is he the one you love the most? The one that you have the most fun with? The one who rushes to your aid when you need him the most?. I have found that all these definition apply to the people I call my friends. Anthony cheng happens to be one of my friends. He hails from St Martin in the virgin Islands and currently attends swarthmore college which is where I first met him. Tony and I have so many things in common I would not waste time to go over but I want to say this to "the man". Please remain the great friend that you are.
I also call Nii Addy and Kabena Adu my friends and for good reason. I went to seccondary school (Presec) with Kwabena and I used to live just about four houses away from Nii Addy (in North Kaneshie, Accra-Ghana). Currently I am in the same college offering the same major (Electrical engineering with the two of them). We take the same courses and share the same experiences together. In fact, I host a radio show witht those two, work as computer consultants and dispatchers with them and serve on the executive committees of a few organisations on swarthmore campus like the African students association (SASA) with them. Check out their web pages. You would grow to love them too.
I almost forgot my room-mate, Marc Allen Jeuland. He has been my roomie for the whole two years that I have been at swarthmore. Marc comes from Chicago and undeerstably is in love with the Bulls and Micheal Jordan in particular. A quite, hardworking, kind and intelligent individual, I admire Marc Allen for his devoutnes as a christian and his keen sense of organisation. He Currently heads the Swarthmore Protestants Community and is a high achieving sportsman. I woulld not forget you in a hurry Marc Allen.
Of Course, I do have a host of other friends being such an affable person and an international student. There are Josh Bloom, Jeff Doyon, Marc Rockmore, Lena Sze, Fathma Jaffer, Richard OKeollo, Marisa Chavez, Scot Samels, Nina Chien, Maggie Thomer, Jordan Wales, Tushar Parlikar, Theo Caprilles, Frank Mote, Vincent Kelly, Kelwin Valcin, Vanessa Agosto, Katrina Clark,Isiuwa Iyahen, Polina Kehayoha, Joycelyn Kea,Greg Bokinsky, Shari Bloom, Nii Saka Addo, Kwaku Sefa Dede, BuBu Banini ,Sade Gilpin Jackson and Dwayne Chambers all of swarthmore college.
Swarthmore is obviously not the only institiion I have been in though, and from working In St Barnabas in Osu (Accra, Ghana) I easily recollect the fun times I had with Zerubabel Adonis Tettey.
From Presec, I still remember with great nostalgia names like Obiri Yeboah Kodua, Samuel Selasie Mototi,Stephen Safo Fred, Bernice Djaba, Carl Olongo and jennifer Ayittey.
From Adisadel college, I still have not forgoten Basti Mark OppOng (Bssti Luus), Alfred Grant Monney (Monno), Andrews Ameyaw (Apolokpetsekpe), Kwabena Kuffour (Wazinga), Akotey Ishmael (Sir Alos Titi), to mention but a few.
I even still remembersome of my friends from Nana Osae Dja Experimental primary (Nsawam, Ghana) Edward Bruce, Akrofi Mensah, Charles Osei Bonsu and Of Course I have not forgoten Lily Lartey.
To all My friends whom I did not mention I want to Let you know that I do love you more than those I mentioned.
