i love this story!!! this is the story of a boy with four names, wilfred gordon mcdonald partridge. he lives next door to an old age home. he becomes good friends with miss nancy. she also has four names! then wilfred hears his parents talking about miss nance and how she has lost her memory. wilfred sets out to find out what a memory is and to get miss nancy's memory back for her. this story is very touching and reveals the magic and love that can exist between two very different people.

julie vivas' colored pencil drawings contribute a lot of feeling and convey the sense of innocence that wilfred has.
