seven blind mice by ed young this is a wonderful story with great pictures. ed young uses vibrant colors and simple words to delight the ear and eyes alike. the story is about seven blind mice who find a "something" in their pond. one by one they each set out to discover what the "something" is. the first six mice feel only a part of the "something" causing each mouse to think different things. only the seventh mouse, who feels the entire "something" can straighten out the mess.
the book is good to use with younger kids to help them discover the abilities and limitations of their senses. The book can also be used with older kids for conflict resolution as well as dealing with rumours.
