Real
World Interfaces were used in all of the research. The
Magellan Two and the Magellan Pro are almost equivalent except for
some minor specification differences. The Magellan Pro has an onboard
Pentium II-350 processor and a Sony Pan-Tilt Zoom Camera, while the
Magellan II has a P3-450 and a Canon VC-C4 PTZ camera. Each of the
robots is equipped with BreezeNet 3Mbps Wireless Ethernet. The robots are
also fully translational, meaning that they can turn on their centers,
requiring no extra room.
