Dr. Jeffery Bell
Jeffrey Bell graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Prior to that he lived in Philadelphia where he earned a Master's degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine. His undergraduate work was completed at the University of Pennsylvania.
Inspired by an internship at Bristol-Myers Squibb, he has developed an interest in rabbits and rodents as well as traditional housepets such as dogs and cats. He completed extramural coursework at DuPont in Wilmington, DE, Penn State at Hershey, UCLA, and the University of California, Berkeley. He has also received training in fish medicine at Woods Hole, MA. Later, as the Attending Veterinarian at the National Institute on Aging, part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), he was involved in aging studies that were published in leading scientific journals such as Nature.
