	Howard is a Psi-Cop; Howard serves the Corps,
	Though some days he's not sure just what he's working for...
	How did he become this?  How could things get so bad?
	But still he loves the Psi-Corps -- it's the only home he's had.

Howard gets a memo; another Blip's been found;
He's got to find this "Annie" before she can run to ground.
She works in Search and Rescue; she's saved so many lives;
He hopes she's good and out of there before his team arrives...

He'd like to trash her case file, he almost thinks he could;
It's just not right to hunt someone who's doing so much good.
But if he's caught it won't just be the end of his career --
Now Annie's not the only one whose choice is forced by fear.

Howard leads a team out, through hills of gold and green,
To scan about for clues around where Annie last was seen.
"She's headed for the forest" -- that's clear in her friends' minds.
The hunt itself is easy; what comes hard is what he finds.

Howard looks at Annie, then puts away his gun;
The canyon drops away here and there's nowhere she can run.
He says what he's supposed to, then runs out of things to say,
And can only shout, "Wait, Annie!" as she turns and dives away.

Howard's face is granite -- he's sure that Annie's dead.
He stands there stunned, regretting what he wishes he had said:
"The Psi-Corps has a place for folks who want to help and heal,"
But he thinks about the Corps he knows, and wonders what to feel.

	Howard is a Psi-Cop, Howard has a choice.
	When they put up the stone for her, he heard her voice
