1) Double click on the ResEdit Application Icon to open the program.

2) Click on the Logo Graphic.

3) Choose a folder that has the icon that you want to edit.

4) Double click on the folder and inside you will see a document called "Icon".

5) Double click on the "Icon" document.

6) You will see a window with different choices of resource types ( icl# resource type, ICN# resource type, or ics# resource type) for the icon you choose, double click on anyone of these resource types.

7) Double click on the icon you are editing.

8) On the left is a tool bar that you can use to edit your icon, pixel by pixel.

9) On the right, you can choose to edit your icon in black and white by clicking once on ICN# or ics#.

11) You can edit your icon in color by clicking on icl 8

12) Once you have edited the icon, close the window.

13) Close the icon window.

14) Close the resource type window and say "Yes" to saving the icon.

15) After you restart your macintosh computer, the changes to your icon will appear.
