Amy Brunner
B.S. Mathematics, Bates College 1994
M.S. Exercise and Sport Studies, Smith College 1999

Amy Brunner began her first season at Swarthmore College this fall. In addition to head coaching soccer, she is also directing the Intramural Program at the college. Amy recently finished her Masters in Exercise and Sport Studies at Smith College in Massachusetts, where she worked as Assistant Soccer and Basketball Coach. Prior to her graduate work, she was the Interim Head Coach for Soccer and Basketball at Knox College in Illinois. A former goalkeeper at Bates College in Maine, Amy still holds several goalkeeping records and helped to lead her team to an ECAC championship in 1991. In 1993 she was honored as an NSCAA All-American Player, and as the Adidas Goalie of the Year. Amy holds the NSCAA National Diploma, having passed with distinction.

Merry Lubking
B.A. Journalism and Human Development and Family Studies, Penn State 1998

Merry Lubking entered her first coaching season at Swarthmore College this fall. She is a recent graduate of Penn State and is currently pursuing graduate work in Education at West Chester University. Merry is originally from Pitman, New Jersey, where she helped guide her Pitman High School team to three South Jersey Championships and two New Jersey State Finals. While at Penn State, she led the Nittany Lions in assists for three straight seasons, and helped to lead the team to two Big Ten Conference Championships in her junior and senior years.
