make Gems assign the same id # to the vote center it creates for each
report precinct so we do not have to enter all the precincts then go to
the vote centers and change the id #'s -
This has been requested before (Greg -- which is
why he agrees). I'll give you the same response I gave
him. GEMS allows multiple report precincts in one vote center,
and allows the same precinct to be in more than one vote center. There
is no one-to-one mapping.
I
do understand what you want though. The only question is how. If
you and Greg can come up with some reasonable rules that take into account
all the "what if" situations, we can implement
them.
