Sharples III
Student Art Building

Sharples III was acquired by the joint effort of the Student Art Association and Photo club in 1999 to be a student art center. The student art "movement" won the referendum against SCCS to become the only public student art space for students.

The first floor has now been renovated to be a student gallery, which renames unnamed at the momemt. Help us name the gallery! Send suggestions to the Sharples III coordinator.

There are plans to renovate the basement into a ceramic workshop with a kiln in an attached fire-proof shed, which will become the home of the Pottery Club, and the third floor into a student darkroom, which is now inconveniently placed on Parrish 5th. We are in the stage of working with Facilities and Development to gather funds for these projects.

We are currently seeking show proposals!!
