Scott Timm Õ99* has worked extensively with children in various areas including teaching, child care, and coaching. Last summer he was Trip Director and First Aid Director at a Girl Scout Camp in Wisconsin). Scott hopes to use this program as a stepping stone toward his future involvement in education, and hopes to bring his ideas from camp to the project. The project will also help him develop new methods to use in future camp settings. As a prospective educator, he is also very interested in how to further increase his knowledge, and follow his interests in how children learn and what affects their education. Scott is a Biology major who will also hold a special major in Education. He is currently planning to go into education where he will most likely teach the natural sciences. *Scott is involved in planning the program; however, he has recently discovered he will be unable to be here over the summer for a variety of personal reasons.
