Subject: SCLP info...

Hi all,

We hope that you are well and healing in the wake of this crazy week.

SCLP is still looking for a few good women to help us create this
exciting
program. We thought we'd give you some information that we didn't get a
chance to say at the meeting, and give a general overview to those of
you who missed the information session.

If we know that you are especially interested in SCLP, you recieved
another e-mail from us telling you where and when our next meeting is. If
you didn't, you're welcome to come! NEXT SUNDAY, 9/16 at 9pm, XXXXXXXX
(Sorelle's awesome room, which will include yummy, probably vegan,
cookies).

We'd love to work in depth with all of you, but we all lead busy
lives. If you don't feel like you can commit to a weekly meeting, but
would like to be kept up to date on our progress and give us suggestions
when they come to you, let us know and we'll put you on our contact
list. You will receive monthly updates and should feel free to jump in
whenever you like.

The Info:

- SCLP, Summer Community Learning Program, is a mentorship program for
daughters of faculty and staff between the ages of 11 and 13.

- This year we will have the exciting opportunity to build our own
program, working towards a two week overnight summer program at the
beginning of the summer. This means that together we can decide exactly
what we want SCLP to be. So far curriculum ideas include women's
self-defense, web page design, writing, and African drumming. If you have
something that you want to do, you can!

- SCLP is based on the Swarthmore campus. This means that all meetings
will be on campus. You can come in your pajamas. (: All the girls will
have parents who work on campus. Come meet them... and help them to meet
each other. Help to build and repair the community that you are a part
of.

If you made it to the bottom of this e-mail, congrats! A special treat
will be waiting for you on Sunday, 9/15 at 9pm in XXXXX. Yum.

See you soon,
Sorelle and Stefanie
