e-mail: faculty advisor
Subject: Re: advising co/motion
Hi--thanks for looking before you leap.
We're really just looking for an adult with experience and common sense
(things we have in smaller quantities) who we can ask questions and
bounce ideas off of. I don't think it will be a serious time
commitment, unless, of course, you wanted to be there in the summer
(which is one of our questions: would it be advisable to hire an adult
supervisor, or just have an adult on call to reasure parents and in case
of emergency), but we really just need someone we can call with
questions. Ann Renninger can help with educational theory
issues, but we could really use someone to help us out with logistics,
and we would love if that person could be you! In the most immediate
future, other than random questions we come up with, we'd probably ask
you to read over any grants we send out to outside agencies, and as we
get farther along, we'd probably need some advise on what to say to the
parents.
That's what we've thought of so far--we'd really love to have you be our
advisor, and it shouldn't be too time consuming.
Thanks so much,
Co/Motion
