- Summation/impressions of the "Class Matters" workshop.
- Talk about housing (we need a point person for that) and space on
campus for classes/activities/etc (is that a different point person?). 
We need to send an e-mail to Paula Dale about what space we'll be using
and where, even if its just a guess.
- Talk about what we want to say in our meeting with Pat.

present:  addie, sarah k, cadelba, eliz, liz, ester, sarah c., sorelle

--Cadelba presented results of her meeting with Karen Mazza (i think I 
spell her name differently every time) her concerns:  getting pool 
time,  developing emergency plans, and sex stuff (more later)
--Cadelba is also going to be a lifeguard. yay!  thank you!  if anyone 
wants to join her, class is next semester monday night, for gym credit.


--Then we disscused things we want to get done before break:

1.  initial letter (stef and addie)
2.  space, awaiting response from some about housing/discount--we need 
confirmation that we have the rooms (ester, please check out pool, IC, 
and computer lab)
3.  food (sarah k., also awaiting response, but perhaps another quick 
email as a reminder)
4.  other grants for next year (sarah k is checking out 
deadlines/printing out grants or giving us links so that we can see what 
needs doing)
5.  Elizabeth is going to check with pat to find out how much we 
actually got, and write up a budget for next years summer program 
(probably the same plus expenses for year long meetings)

If people dont have time to do these things before next meeting, please 
email all or me and sorelle and we'll get them done.

do research on curriculum, stay in contact with others, especially those 
within your group

--we need to have a discussion about how we want to do sex/aids talk and 
how we are going to present it to the parents/karen m.

next meeting:  dec 8, sarah k and cadelba facilitating.  on the agenda 
so far: massive strategic calender (perhaps sex talk?  i don't know)

WEDNESDAY DEC. 12, 4 pm, sorelle's movie.  the barn.  then dinner.  yum 
no study.
