grants vs. fundraising--
pat want us to do fundraising, b/c grant people would be pissed about 
end of sclp
except for grant at local aauw
we can become a civic group which should cover our year-long expenses 
(monthly or bimonthly meetings)
but she wants us to fundraise for the next summer.
we like the idea of involving parents/community, having a consistent 
donor base, but a little uncomfortable about the time needed to do this 
and the asking for money.  but if we could expand it to the whole 
college community, it might work.

we also need to figure out the background check form for those of us who 
have out of state driver's liscences--something about an fbi form.  some 
one volunteered to go ask pat or email her about this, but i don't 
remember  who (sorry) please do.

addie is getting in touch with barbara gifford to see if our housing 
starts in time for alumni weekend work, and if not how much $ or would 
it cost to extend earlier so we could work alumni weekend.

becca emailed me and is agreeable to doing difficult situation workshop 
during reading week, exact time, tba.
