for possible outside donors

Jake
Beckman has agreed to construct a clock as part of our gift to the
school.
Below are his thoughts on the clock design.
Please donate what you can to this project. Take a second to send even
a dollar or two to gift records in Sproul, or call 800-660-9714 or
visit
the secure gift site http://gift.swarthmore.edu .
Just make sure you note that your donation should go towards the Senior
Class gift. Thanks
for your attention and enjoy your last few months as college students!
A sample picture of what the clock will look like is posted on the Class Gift page.

Note from Martin Warner:
If you are planning to graduate this May
30, 2004, come CHECK the bulletin
board outside the registrar in Parrish to verify your name, major(s),
and
minor(s). (If you're off campus, send me an email.)
Two areas of concern:
1) Check your major(s) or minor(s): If your plans have changed,
please
email Martin Warner.
2) Check your name: Do I have all your middle names? Junior, etc.?
Any
special characters? It is recommend that you use your fullest,
longest name
for this (no abbreviations of any kind). This list is for your diploma
and
the commencement program. The diploma is in ALL UPPER CASE. If you
want
special characters used, be sure to follow the convention for special
characters in UPPER CASE.
And if you don't find your name, or if you have decided not to graduate
this May, please tell notify Martin
Warner immediately.
Note from Scott Tutton:
Important notice - Baccalaureate Luncheon Tickets
Each senior will receive three (3) tickets in their graduation
packet from
the Dean's Office. ONE OF THOSE IS FOR YOU! (Yes, even the graduates
themselves must have a ticket.) The other two are for friends and
family. Additional tickets can be purchased from the Dining Services
office, upstairs in Sharples, beginning Monday, May 3, 8:30-3:00,
Monday
through Friday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children
under
12. Cash or check only.
Under no circumstances will we mail tickets. There are no
exceptions. They must be picked up in person. We would also strongly
suggest that you do not mail your tickets either. Tickets are not
replaceable or refundable. if they are lost in the mail, forgotten
at home
or in a hotel room, or misplaced for any reason, you will have
to purchase
more tickets. It's best if the tickets never leave campus.
