*pierced*

 

I had the greatest night imaginable

i got over him

because i was kissed

for the first time since

without his lips

and even though i didn't feel

the way i should have

i felt free

free of him

free of anyone basically

sitting on the edge of my bed

smiling the biggest smile

tapping the CD case against my hand

singing as loud as i could...

i had my ears pierced today

not against him

but because i changed

back into being me...

smiling the biggest smile
