Welcome to my web page. If you've come before, welcome back. You've just arrived at Swarthmore College. (Swat, for short.) Oh, you haven't heard of it? Me neither, but people tell me it's one ot the top community colleges in the nation (if there is such a thing.) Actually, it's a small liberal arts (whatever that means) school just outside Philly. There are two other colleges nearby: Bryn Mawr (don't ask me how to pronounce it) and Haverford (not to be confused with Harvard, although if you say you go to Haverford, people will probably think you said "Harvard" in which case they'll be very impressed and you'll be too embarassed to correct the confusion.) Together, the three colleges make up the Tri-college area.
For approximately $120,000, you could buy several Lexus luxury automobiles (cars that everyone has heard of)Self-promotion
OR you could spend four years in a library (McCabe) with orange carpet and a dungeon-like exterior at a college (Swarthmore) that very few people have heard of.
