If you like art, Carlos' Coloring Book Home lets you color on the computer. You can also look at art that other kids have done at the The Fridge Gallery. Adriana's Artwork shows interesting pictures drawn by a 9 year old. See drawings of dinosaurs at The Art of Tyrannosaurus. You can even make your own Lite Brite creation. Children's Stories, Poems, Pictures and Sounds is also great if you like art and music. Aunt Annie's Craft Page has creative projects that are fun.

If you enjoy music, Children's Music might be a fun site to check out. You can also get a catalogue of music at Child's Touch . Listen to what other kids have to say about the latest songs on Children's Music Reviews.

Reading

If you prefer reading there is also Children's Literature, which lists different topics and books that you might find interesting. You can also find some great Children's Fairy Tales and Children's Poetry on the Internet. Positively Poetry publishes poetry written by kids ages 5-15. If you already have a favorite author or book, you can go to lists of Authors of Children's Books, Timeless Classics, and Children's Books. You can also read a book from your computer through Electronic Literature and Choose Your Own Adventure. If you want to read reviews about children's books, go to Children's Literature Book Reviews.

Science

If you think science is fun, take a look at Science For Kids. It should be great. You can also learn about all kinds of different Dinosaurs or, if you like plants better, Trees of the World on the Internet. If you are interested in things out of this world, find out about Spacecrafts and Outer Space. You can also learn about everything in the solar system like the planets and the sun at The Nine Planets. If you like Beakman's show on television, look up Beakman and Jax Science Stuff. Learn how to grow plants at home at the KinderGarden. If you're just curious about many things things in science, The Children Science Village makes science fun for chidren ages 3-12. The Electronic Zoo has lots of information on all kinds of animals.

Writing

Maybe you like to write. If you do, learn About Books and Writing. Publish your own work at Kid Pub. You can also read stuff other kids have written in Kinderpress, which is a site that will publish children's drawings, poetry, and sound files. The Looking Glass Gazette publishes the writings of kids from preschool to 8th grade. Write or read news stories for ISN KidNews. Learn to creat your own newspaper with Crayon. Submit book reprts or read what other kids have to say about their favorite books at the Book Nook. Cyberkids and MidLink Magazine are Internet magazines written for and by kids. Check them out if you want to write for them or just read what others have written. Send in anything you want published to The CTDNet Gallery.
