The Syllabus Project

INTRODUCTION

Almost every professor in the world has a folder on her Mac (or, increasingly, PC-compatible) that could be helpful to others. Most don't expect to ever convert their particular organization of data into money, and neither should they. What they cando is save the rest of the world time and money, and save some themselves by posting these vital resources here, on the Web.

The more submissions I get, the more submissions I get, the more people put links to this page, the more people see this page. Growth grows growth.

Please help. Email me attatchments with syllabi and any other course-materials that might be useful to the academic and/or lay community. If you're really inspired, you could offer yourself as a contact-person for questions and advice regarding the subject-matter. If you have a couple excellent students in mind who wouldn't mind, you could also give their email addresses as contact-persons.

At the very least, I'll post all the syllabi I get. If things look good, I'll post them along with lists of contact-people, and even try to create a web-based, news-group-like environment where people interested in the issues brought out by the syllabi and course-materials can meet each other.
