The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center teamed up with the City of Chicago and the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation to publish a 48-page guide to signing, striping and marking bike lanes on city streets. The guide contains 35 full-page technical drawings of street layouts, striping patterns, signs, and street markings that show how the City of Chicago installs bike lanes on streets as narrow as 44 feet wide with parking on both sides. The guide includes detailed information on how to address intersections, bus stops, and other tricky situations. 2002.
