What we do at Swarthmore: sit in the sun and enjoy ourselves. Especially when we can play in the Big Chair. Life is good.
Sometimes we can't get outside - it's late, it's raining, whatever. Don't worry, though: we manage to have a good time wherever we are! (plus you get to see part of my dorm room! crazy, ain't it?!)
SPAC, Swarthmore Progessive Action Committee, helped fund and organize sending a van of about 20 students up to New York City for a big rally. We got up insanely early and it was quite cold, but fun and rewarding nonetheless...
Two trips up to New York City in two weeks! The first trip piggy-backed on the immigrant workers' rally - Juliet and I hung out in Manhattan (first time in Time Square!), ate fruit and hot chocolate, and then crashed at Barnard with Libbie. The second trip I went up alone and again, hung out with Libbie, as well as with Gwen, Steve, Steve's roommate from Duke and the roommate's twin sister. Then, I stayed with Eva. What fun...
