Concept and plot design:

When I was first thinking about this final project, I decided I wanted to build something in Maya, and have my animation work its way through whatever it was that I had constructed. The idea of a building obviously came to mind, but that sounded so boring. So, I decided that since it was so easy to get things to move and float in Maya, it would be a great idea if I designed a house that was inherently haunted. Ghouls, ghosts, and goblins are so over-used. I borrowed from the movie "The Shining" the idea that the building itself is a sentient being. It also likes to scare the living crap out of people. So that’s what I had to begin with.
