8	The Blue Kite (Lan Feng Zheng) -- finally a chinese film. Life in the
	sixties through the eyes of a child.
	
9	In the Heat of the Sun (Yang Guang Can Lan De Ri Zi) -- directed by
	Jiang Wen. A different perspective of the cultural revolution.
	
10	Le Fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain (Amelie) -- romantic comedy with a
	french twist.
	
11	Paris, Texas -- long, and at times slow. But a gripping film.
	
12	Scarface -- crime
	
13	Lawrence of Arabic -- I am reluctent to include this one, but the
	landscape was impressive.

45	Taxi Driver -- you must see this one.
	
46	Before the rain -- one of the best war movies
	
47	all quiet on the western front -- also read the same-titled novel.

56	The Professional -- also known as Leon. I was moved to tears (I was
	also 17). Natalie Portman when she was 13.

60	Cabaret -- check out the 1972 version. Liza Minnelli -- daughter of Judy

	Ojors. Tom Cruise in a remake of an
	excellent Spanish sci-fi.
