For The Introduction to Digital Logic and VHDL lab our group designed, via a programmable logic board, a simple scoreboard. Using a combination of VHDL and CAD we created the constituent components of a simple computer. In extending the basic features of the scoreboard we coded the entire scoreboard in VHDL, added user input via dip switches, and used the functionality of the accumulator component to create "clever" programs. The board's functionality was tested through extensive simulation. When programmed the board was fully operational.
