First off, I'll use this page to mention that I am a member of
Swarthmore College's oldest all-male a
capella group, Sixteen Feet, though you'd never know it from the antiquated web page that the above
link will take you to. One of these days, that page will be updated, and
maybe then you'll be able to see pictures of the current group of studly men
and even hear some clips from past CDs as well as our current work in
progress.
Also, I have to put in a plug for
Rockwell Church here, cause it
just might be my favoritest group in the whole wide
world. It's a folkish duo consisting of a recent Haverford grad (lead guitar &
instrumental master) and a recent Princeton grad (rhythm guitar, songwriter &
lead singer), and they're REALLY good. So check them out and listen to the
songs they have posted on their web page. My personal favorite is "She Hung
the Moon," but that's just one of many incredible songs. They're not paying
me any money to say
this, so all I'm hoping for is that they'll make it big, and I'll have the smug
satisfaction of knowing that I contributed to their success. It's the little
things in life.
Aside from that, I plan on filling this page with my truly admirable list of
mp3 songs. I've put a lot of time and effort and procrastination into amassing
my list of over 90 songs, so I figure that gives me the right to show it off
for everyone to ogle (or disapprove of, depending on your taste). Ideally, I'd
put links to all the songs up here, but I'm not even sure that's possible, and
it sounds like a lot of work, so it probably wouldn't happen anyway. For now,
here's a link to winamp. Woo-hoo!
