Does the word "duh" mean anything to you?

I have loved Buffy ever since I heard those immortal words in the wonderful world of camp that is the movie called "Buffy: the Vampire Slayer". When I heard it was being made into a TV show, I couldn't believe it, and I thought it would probably be bad. I was very wrong.

I'm not going to explain my Buffylove, because if you get it, you get it, and if you don't... well, then move it along, there's nothing for you here. I'm thinking about starting an episode guide that answers all the important questions about an episode of Buffy. Did Giles get knocked out? Did Angel brood? I have all the episodes on tape, so we'll see if that happens.

So many people already have extensive Buffy sites that I could never match, that I am not going to try. I haven't got the time and there's no need. Instead, here are some excellent links to people with for-real Buffy pages, and assloads of pictures, some of which I have shamelessly stolen.

http://members.tripod.com/Christie _Clark/buffyworld.html- It's more about the actors and less about the show. It has a biography section. (That's how I know that Alyson Hannigan likes Cake (the band) too!)
www.buffyguide.com- Very extensive, very thourough. Defintiely need to visit. It has everything.
www.angelicslayer.com/tbcs/- Otherwise known as the Buffy Cross and Stake. Very good site, with especially good quote lists and spoilers.
Buffy Online - Very slick site. I like. Also, lots of nice episode screencaps.
www.chosentwo.com/buffy- Much Ado about Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Tiff's favorite Buffy site.
Psyche's Transcripts Wow! This site has transcripts for all the episodes.
The Buffy Shooting Script Site Ack! Fox made this site shut down, but I'll leave the link just in case it comes back. Again, this is not for my sister, who needs to be patient. Very cool especially are drafts of episodes. Some are way different.
City of Angel A very good Angel episode guide with character and actor info
Analysis of each episode- well, from season three onwards. He get better with time. Some of his insights are pretty cool, and he picks up on foreshadowing a lot. His summaries are pretty thourough, too.

Below was my entry in a contest for the sentence you would least like to have start off a Buffy book. It's rather irrelevant, and very, very wrong, but I thought I'd share:

Maybe he had been hoping to relive his glory days as a hyena, or maybe he was in fact looking for a way to deal with his sexual frustration and pain now that Anya had left him, but as Xander, who had been wandering the zoo after hours for a while now, saw the monkeyhouse, he smiled, as if rehearing Anya's advice "Go monkey! Choose monkey!", and as he entered he knew, that tonight at least, HE would not be the butt-monkey, at least not in the literal sense.
