To students interested in visiting Australia or attending an Australian university, this website will serve as a nice introduction to Australian culture and what to expect while abroad. We have attached several pictures to help you put yourself in cities such as Melbourne and Sydney, set up links to two papers that we have written on war memorials and Australian Sporting Culture, and have a brief advice section on what one shoud need when traveling. By no means is this a comprehensive breakdown of Australian life nor is it sponsored by an affiliated organizations attached to that country or to Swarthmore College. Our aim as students who have both traveled Down Under is to provide other students with the information that we did not have when we considered going abroad and giving a glimpse into the great continent that is Australia.
