   You saw their wild antics on stage, but what lies behind their goofy public persona? More goofiness, The Phoenix's Jessica Sonnenschein discovered during the two days she spent shadowing the Flying Karamazov Brothers. But underlying their playful character is a deep-seated commitment to high-level artistry. The Karamazovs are never content with simply showing off their fancy tricks, but rather "they present their tricks in a framework of an underlying theme, enacted by characters who have definite personalities and relationships with each other," Sonnenschein observes.
