Poem --
My Place

The dawn rolls bright
Into this day of new
The trees have stopped wondering
what season it is
The birds have found south
a way destined to be
I look around
everything has found its place
No worries
No more pain.
My spirits want to sing
A thousand prayers
My heart flutters
I can feel you near
With me
You're here.
You're here
Everywhere
In the leaves
In my ears
I want to call out your name
To catch you in the rays
You're here
though you are miles away
The wind is my fingers
I can feel your face
Oh what joy I feel
what freedom
it's liquid sweet
I smile at you
and you're here.
Now I too
Have found my place.
You
I have no fear.
