Queen Amidala as first seen in her Theed Palace Throne Room:

Queen Amidala's commitment to tradition and Naboo culture are reflected in her gowns, perhaps most notably in the Throne-Room gown. The extremely formal appearance of the gown reminds others of her unwavering sense of responsibility and leadership. Ringed near the base by striking illuminated sein jewels, the gown is also decorated with hand-stitched gold embroidery in the front. as well as wide shoulders outlined with potolli fur. The headpiece which accompanies the gown is also memorable, due in part to the queen's hair which is stlyed over a padded form and supported by gold and red face-frames. The headpiece is decorated in the middle by the Jewel of Zenda.
